2026 Women Building Atlantic Canada: Workforce, Leadership and Growth Summit

Our 2026 Women Building Atlantic Canada: Workforce, Leadership and Growth Summit – A Huge Success!

This initiative, in its first year, was created by NLCA President/COO Rhonda Neary to provide a platform that recognizes, supports, and advances women in the construction industry while addressing the evolving workforce needs across Atlantic Canada. The Summit was developed from a vision to foster meaningful conversations around leadership, workforce development, mentorship, retention, and the unique challenges and opportunities women experience within the skilled trades, the construction industry, and related sectors. By bringing together industry leaders, professionals, employers, and advocates, the event creates an environment where women can connect, share experiences, build confidence, and inspire future generations to pursue careers in construction.

The Women Building Atlantic Canada: Workforce, Leadership and Growth Summit on May 7 at #NLCABuildExpo2026 was a tremendous success – bringing together leaders, delegates, and industry partners for a day of inspiration, connection, and meaningful conversations.

Thank you to all speakers, sponsors, and attendees for supporting the advancement of women in construction across Atlantic Canada. Through empowering discussions, networking, and collaboration, the Summit reflects NLCA’s commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive industry that supports growth, innovation, and leadership at every level.

Thank you for being part of #NLCABuildExpo2026 & the Women Building Atlantic Canada: Workforce, Leadership and Growth Summit . We look forward to building on this success together in the years ahead.
